CA View - Database Started Task Failing at Initial Automated Backup

Issue/Introduction

The client's //SARXCTAB, exception table, contained the following contents:

 /DEFAULT CC>0007,NORCAT

The entry was changed to then be:

 /DEFAULT CC>7 NORCAT

The client then received messages:

 SARBKU30  ***************************************************                   

 SARBKU30  *  SARSTC Backup task abended with code U0001     *                   

 SARBKU30  ***************************************************                   

and the SARSTC task failed.

Resolution

The client had the //SARXCTAB, exception table, contents in their ERO table (//SARPATAB DD).

The client corrected the ERO table contents, and the task was able to run a View backup with no problems.
