CA Privileged Access Manager (PAM)

Issue/Introduction

Sometimes, due to network reconfiguration, we may need to change the DNS Domain of our PAM Server.
How can we safely change the DNS Domain of a PAM server and what side effects may this change cause?

Resolution

No issues are expected to change the DNS Domain of a PAM Server.
The DNS Domain a PAM server belongs to can be safely changed from the PAM User Interface accessing the "Configuration / Network / Network Settings" pane

Additional Information

It does not affect the license at all, so there should not be any problem in this area.
Just make sure that the DNS server defined to the workstations and devices accessing the PAM server is able to properly resolve directly (name to address) and reversed (address to name) the PAM's hostname, FQDN and IP address in the new domain.
