Cause

Two types of Java Virtual Machines are available on the official download page of AdoptOpenJDK - HotSpot and OpenJ9.

Resolution

The AdoptOpenJDK 8 with HotSpot JVM is installed on the API Gateway virtual appliance by 9.4 CR04. Please choose the HotSpot JVM for software form-factor when the AdoptOpenJDK 8 is downloaded from the official website.
