DUAS6: SAP_PCHAIN not submitted "RSPC_API_CHAIN_START. RFC ERROR [FAILED]"

Issue/Introduction

When trying to run SAP_PCHAIN Uprocs with Dollar Universe Manager for SAP, the Jobs are getting abort by not submitting and giving below error.

 cannot proceed process chain [PCHAIN_NAME]

RFC error number   : 105

key     : FAILED

msg     : EXCEPTION FAILED RAISED

 ============================================================ 

Below is the error found from universe log:

|ERROR|X|SAP|pid=p.t| uxsap_rspc_api_chain_star | urfc_RfcCallReceive fails to call RSPC_API_CHAIN_START. RFC ERROR [FAILED] [EXCEPTION FAILED RAISED  ]

Submission of SAP_XBP2 Uprocs work fine.

Cause

Missing permissions to submit PCHAIN for the user defined in uxjcs.ini to communicate with SAP.

 

 

 

Resolution

Add necessary roles (SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW) to the user configured in uxjcs.ini to connect to SAP to be able to execute PCHAINs
