iDash Clock change (EST to EDT)

Issue/Introduction

Hi,

 

We are running iDash version 12.1 , installed on RHEL7 servers and configured to both Autosys and CA7.

Do we need to apply any patch for the upcoming clock change in the US (EST to EDT) on March 8th?

Please let us know how idash calculates/handles the clock change?

Release : 12.1

Component : CA WORKLOAD AUTOMATION AE IDASH

Resolution

There is no patch required. iDash handles the change just fine. there are some adjustments made to some of the calculated values around the deadline, like run validity and end tracking. Those really only come into play when the deadline and the calculated value wind up falling on opposite sides of the time change.
