Issue/Introduction

Description:

CA SDM 12.9 introduces the new feature of "Advanced Availability" (AA).

In this configuration, an environment would have one Background Server and at least one Standby Server and additional Application Servers. The Application Servers are much more self-dependent than "Secondary Servers" in a Conventional configuration, but still rely on the Background Server to perform certaintasks. These tasks that are performed exclusively by the Background Server are referred to as "Singleton Daemons".

This document provides a list of the Singleton Daemon processes in a CA SDM 12.9 AA environment.
