CA Service Desk Manager CA Service Management - Service Desk Manager

Issue/Introduction

The SDM Advanced Availability(AA) an environment has one Background Server and at least one Standby Server and additional Application Servers. The Application Servers are much more self-dependent than "Secondary Servers" in a Conventional configuration, but still rely on the Background Server to perform certain tasks. These tasks that are performed exclusively by the Background Server are referred to as "Singleton Daemons".

This article provides a list of the Singleton Daemon processes in a CA SDM AA environment.
