As of December 21st, 2019, RapidRelease Updates via FTP are no longer available for Symantec Protection Engine or Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange.

Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange

Update Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange to minimum version 7.5.6, or apply the hotfix attached at How to change Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange RapidRelease updates to use HTTP for download instead of FTP.

Protection Engine and Protection for SharePoint Servers

Update to minimum SPE version 7.9.0 to switch to HTTP for RapidRelease updates, or apply one of the hotfixes below.
