IT Management Suite version 7.6 HF7
Starting from IT Management Suite 7.6 Hotfix 7, Symantec Management Platform and related solutions support client computers that use OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
IT Management Suite provides support for client functionality for the OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
The Full Support functionality is limited to the following components, solutions, and features of the IT Management Suite:

Note the following steps before you upgrade the managed computers that have Max OS X 10.10 or earlier to Mac OS X 10.11:

It is not recommended that first you upgrade Max OS X to 10.11 and then upgrade IT Management Suite to version 7.6 HF7. |
For unmanaged computers, upgrade IT Management Suite to 7.6 HF7 and then rollout Symantec Management Agent to computers with Max OS X 10.11.
These are the known limitations in Full Support of OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
