SEP (Symantec Endpoint Protection) for Mac fails to perform manual scans
When initiated from SEP client GUI, get popup for "starting scan.." which is immediately replaced with "Scan completed". The scan is doing nothing, e.g. a scan of user Desktop with eicar.zip present file will find nothing.
When initiated from right-click menu, get "Scan Error" pop-up.
This issue is fixed in SEP 14.2.5570 for Mac or newer
