DCS (Data Center Security) Linux Agent Antimalware Feature is Disabled and not Installed

Issue/Introduction

During installation of the DCS Linux 6.8 (or later) agent, the AMD (Antimalware) feature is disabled

The following warning message is logged in the agent_install.log:

WARNING: /tmp dir has less than 1GB free space available
WARNING: Antimalware feature is disabled

Environment

DCS 6.8.x Agent

DCS 6.9.x Agent

Linux Server

Cause

The server does not have enough free space because the DCS AMD Feature requires 4GB of RAM (Physical RAM + Swap space) and 4GB of free disk space with at least 1GB allocated to the /tmp/ directory 
 

Resolution

On systems where /tmp/ is mounted separately from the root directory ensure that the server has at least 1GB of available disk space in the /tmp/ directory
