After changing the application identity (AppID), when attempting to import software into the Software Library the message "an error has occured that prevents the data displaying" is presented.
The Import Software page displays:
"An error has occured that prevents the data displaying. Check server logs for details." error message.
Notification Server logs will show entries of:
WebApi Controller failure.
Access to the path '\\SMP Name\softwarelibrary\GUID' is denied.
The AppID does not have sufficient permissions to the Software Library share.
Grant the AppID Full Control permissions to the to the Software Library folder.
