EMDI not validating on endpoint.

Issue/Introduction

EMDI is enabled but detecting more than defined in the data validator.

Agent logs show error:

Detection.EMDICheck | None of the profiles are loaded for this validator or no lookup are executed, failing open | EMDICheck.cpp(112)

Environment

DLP 15.x, 16.x

Resolution

Set EMDI.EnabledOnAgents=true on both enforce and the detection servers:

C:\Program Files\Symantec\DataLossPrevention\DetectionServer\16.x\Protect\config\Protect.properties

and

C:\Program Files\Symantec\DataLossPrevention\EnforceServer\16.x\Protect\config\Protect.properties
