Issue/Introduction

The user imported a device with Modeling Gateway on a SDM Connector server but received a message that it is not available, although it is available.

Check the sdmLog.log for the following message (and similar):

Fri Mar 23 14:47:10 2012 : WARNING: SdmEtpkiEndpoint::read() Incompatible header detected [KEEP_ALIVE_], version mismatch? Endpoint IP=<IP Address>

Verify that the SDM Connector version matches the Spectrum version.

Search the SDM Connector machine for the <SDM Connector>\bin folder, right click the LibSpectrumVersion.dll - Details tab - File version.

If the SPECTRUM version and the libSpectrumVersion.dll version are not the same, use the install media from the last install on Spectrum (see $SPECROOT\Install-Tools\.history file - last line) and install from the install menu the SDM Connector on the machine, where Spectrum should connect to.
