db_lobspace_reclaim tool failing with error

Issue/Introduction

In certain versions of db_lobspace_reclaim tool you may receive the following error when running it.

 

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DLP_LOBSPACE_MGMT", line 76
ORA-06512: at line 80
SYS.DLP_LOBSPACE_MGMT

Cause

The tool is hard coded to use the protect user, if you do not use it under that name it will fail.

Resolution

Edit the tool to use the user equivalent of protect.
