The ServerRedundancy.FAILOVER_INTERVAL.long Advanced Agent Setting no longer available in DLP 15

Issue/Introduction

The ServerRedundancy.FAILOVER_INTERVAL.long Advanced Agent Setting is no longer available in the DLP 15 Enforce Console. This setting was removed in DLP 15 as it was part of the old endpoint agent communication layer.

Resolution

The following three Advanced Agent Settings have replaced the ServerRedundancy.FAILOVER_INTERVAL.long setting in DLP 15:

• ServerCommunicator.CONNECT_BACKOFF_DURATION_MULTIPLIER.int
• ServerCommunicator.INITIAL_CONNECT_BACKOFF_DURATION_SECONDS.int
• ServerCommunicator.MAX_CONNECT_BACKOFF_DURATION_SECONDS.int

These settings are found in the Enforce Console by navigating to System -> Agents -> Agent -> Agent Configuration. Click on the applicable agent configuration. Click on the Advanced Settings tab.
