Issue/Introduction

Sometimes it may take a long time to open up the DLP Enforce homepage after submitting the authentication credentials. 

Cause

This can happen if there are a lot of reports configured to show up in the home page or the reports configured on the home page retrieve a large number of incidents.

Resolution

The issue can be resolved by creating a shared Dashboard and assigning it as the home page.

Here are the steps to create a shared dashboard.
1.Login as a non administrator account to the Enforce Web UI.
2. Hover your mouse on Incidents and click on All Reports.
3. Click on "Create Dashboard" and chose "Shared Dashboard" Click "Next".
4. Provide a name to the dashboard. and click on "Save".
5. To set the new dashboard as the home page, click on the new dashboard from Reports->All Reports.
6. Click on the small home icon on the right hand corner to set this page as your home screen.

For other users to set this dashboard as their home screen, follow these steps:
1. Login with a non administrator account to the Enforce Web UI.
2. Hover your mouse on Incidents and click on All Reports.
3. Click on the new shared dashboard and click on the small home icon on the right hand corner to set this page as your home screen.

Note:
1. The Administrator account cannot create a shared dashboard.
2. The shared dashboard created will be available to only the user group which created the dashboard.
3. An administrator cannot assign a home page to another user.
