We are trying to add additional nodes to a current single host to make it a cluster and we get the below error:

WARN (S0160):

        These disks do not have 'ext3' or 'ext4' filesystems: '/dev/mapper/rhel-

        home' = 'xfs'

Prerequisites not fully met during local (OS) configuration for

    WARN (S0160):

        These disks do not have 'ext3' or 'ext4' filesystems: '/dev/mapper/rhel-

        home' = 'xfs

System prerequisites failed.  Threshold = WARN

        Hint: Fix above failures or use --failure-threshold

AdminTools and your existing Vertica databases may be unavailable.

Investigate the above warnings/errors and re-run installation.

The install is seeing all the disk partitions on the system.  If /catalog and /data are on ext4, then these errors can be ignored

/dev/sdb                  ext4      142G   61M  135G   1% /catalog

/dev/sda                  ext4      985G   77M  935G   1% /data

CAPM 3.x

Run the command with --failure-threshold FAIL

For example:

/opt/vertica/sbin/update_vertica --add-hosts xxx -u dradmin -l
/home/dradmin -L /opt/CA/IMDataRepository_vertica9/resources/vlicense.dat --rpm
/opt/CA/IMDataRepository_vertica9/resources/vertica-9.0.1-7.x86_64.RHEL6.rpm -T
-S default --failure-threshold FAIL

This will force the install to exit if there is a FAIL, not a WARN
