Issue/Introduction

After upgrading the Linux operating system from RedHat-6.9 to RedHat-6.10 provisioning is failing.

When running a netstat command, not all expected JCS ports are listening.

Environment

Release : 14.x

Component : IdentityMinder(Identity Manager)

Cause

Libraries that are used by the JCS could possibly be impacted by the upgrade of the OS.

Resolution

In order to resolve this issue uninstall and reinstall the connectors

You can find the connector Server installation media under the Provisioning folder within the main installation media folder.

Once you reinstall you will see the JCS communicate over the correct ports.

For the list of ports you may refer to the following techdoc article: https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/symantec-security-software/identity-security/identity-manager/14-5/reference/default-ports-for-identity-manager-and-associated-components.html

Additional Information

Please note this issue can occur in windows as well.  The remediation steps are the same.
