DB03152E CDCL RC 40(114) at MUF startup
Article ID: 182948
We are experiencing a RC 40(114) - Extended RWTSA Size Error with CDCL at MUF startup. The error shows: DB03151I - CDCL R15Q1 STARTED MODE-LOCAL LASTLXX-0000000000000000 DB02405I - PXX START ***CDCL* 67506 40(114) ADDIT-3009-MNT D-1 R15Q1 DB02406I - PXX END 0 EXTENDED RWTSA SIZE ERROR DB03153E - CDCL R15Q1 ERROR ADDITMNT 40(114)
We have a set of QA regression procedures that initialise the LXX before starting the MUF and running predefined jobs to generate the same CDC data that we process.
RC 40(114) is usually resolved by increasing the MUF Startup Option TASKS value for memory size.
Component : CA DATACOM/DB Component : CA DATACOM/AD
To ensure the MUF will start, increase the second parameter of the MUF Startup Option TASKS (default is 32K) until the message goes away. This value can be as high as 60K, but you need to be cautious as this is the amount that every task will allocate, and if you have a MUF with many Tasks, you could be wasting memory needlessly.
As always, please contact Broadcom support for CA Datacom if you have further questions.
