Issue/Introduction

Currently running jobs with File Aid Db2 to unload a Db2 table to a flat file. What facility is available in RC/Query for Db2 for z/OS (RCQ) to perform the same function.
RC/Query has the UNLOAD line command.

Resolution

Request a T/L (Table / List) report and then issue the UNLOAD line command on the table that you want to unload.
Based on the setting in your RC/Query Profile, it will determine if the Fast Unload product is used or if the IBM Unload utility will be used.
The appropriate utility screen will display and you will just need to complete the information and then process the request.
