When changing our CPU/processor hardware, do we need to verify software or product fixes for TPX?
TPX is not hardware dependent. Compatibility depends on the version of the operating (z/OS) system where TPX is running.
If the new CPU has a different serial number, you will need to request new AUTH/License (LMP) keys.
You should verify that your current contract covers the change in hardware.
