Issue/Introduction

Description:

While trying to edit a table message RU676* One or more columns with LOB/XML/BINARY/VARBIN/DECFLOAY/ROWID/Identity/FOR UPDATE were de-selected.

This message is followed by RU678E RC/Edit can't edit or browse the current table

Solution:

Check the RC/Edit Profile Variables and set the "Default method for applying updates" to P, for Positional.

Also in the RC/Edit Options screen, set the "Initial Edit Mode" to F, for Form.
