How to configure PXE when it resides on a DHCP Server and only certain scopes will provide PXE traffic?

Deployment Solution

Normally, if a PXE server is installed onto a DHCP server, PXE option 1 "Auto Detect Microsoft DHCP server" is normally used so that DHCP provides clients with both their TCP/IP stack as well as their PXE server information.

If the DHCP server contains many scopes, and only certain scopes will be used for PXE, how should PXE be configured?

PXE should be configured to use option 2 "Third party DHCP server installed" as well as PXE Forced Mode implemented on the relevant DHCP scopes.
