Error: Server side operation

Unable to connect to http://server.example.com:8080/ixp/

Component: ASAGT

Resolution

The solution is, for the very first login, use the "built-in" user name "ixpAdmin" with the same password "ixpAdmin".

At this stage, iXp will prompt for an immediate modification of the password.

The new password must contain at least:

  1. One or more letters

  2. One or more numbers

  3. One or more of the following specific characters: ~!@#$%^&*()_-+={}[]:;'"<<>?/\,.

  4. At least 8 characters long, with No space.

Once modified the ixpAdmin user's password, you are logged in.

You can use the "iXp Admin Tool" to create more users and define the Authentication Policy.

By default, the Authentication mode is set to "Single Sign On".

Otherwise, you can change it to "iXp User/Password" mode.
