How does a computer with an Notification Server Agent installed become a Wake on LAN relay agent?

In order to become a Wake on LAN Relay Agent for a particular subnet, the following criteria are used, in order:

  1. Candidacy: Order of priority to even become a Relay Agent is:
    1. Notification Server
    2. Package Server
    3. Computer with the Altiris Agent installed.

If any of the above are met, then the following is added to it:
  2. When was the last configuration event?
  3. When was the last Basic Inventory sent?

Service Pack 3 notes: All NIC' reported by TCPIP inventory are eligible; however, if a machine has a NIC that uses either as the default gateway, or does not have a gateway, it will be excluded from the list of candidate relay agents.
