I'm receiving the following 407 error messages in the log files:

The request failed with HTTP status 407: Proxy Authentication Required

Notification Server 6

  1. There is a proxy server in place and the proxy settings have not be defined in the Notification Server console.
  2. A proxy server is defined in the Notification Server console and the ID and password are incorrect.
  3. A proxy server is defined, but the proxy is set to by pass the proxy for internal addresses.

Check your proxy configuration settings in the Notification Server console and ensure the settings are correct by going to the following at location Configuration tab > Server Settings > Notification Server Settings > Proxy Configuration:

The coresettings.config file also contains information about the proxy. If the Customwebproxyenabled = 1, a proxy server is defined. If the Customwebproxyenabled = 0, no proxy server is defined.
