This article provides instructions on how to enable the PGP plug-in for GroupWise.
NOTE: This article is applicable only if you are running a version earlier than Symantec Encryption Desktop 10.3.1 and Symantec Encryption Management Server 3.3.1. Starting from Symantec Encryption Desktop 10.3.1 and Symantec Encryption Management Server 3.3.1, the PGP plug-in for GroupWise is disabled by default.
In PGP Desktop 10.0, the PGP plug-in is disabled by default. If you are using the GroupWise 6.5.1 with the proprietary protocol, you will not have automated messaging functionality. However, you can use the PGP GroupWise plug-in that which provides limited functionality for encrypting plain text emails and attachments.
Note: If you are using GroupWise 6.5.1 with a POP/IMAP/SMTP protocol, the PGP Messaging proxy is supported with PGP Desktop 10.0. |
