Resolution

  1. Log in to the Control Center
  2. Go to the Administration tab
  3. Go to End User under Users menu
  4. In "Current email address:" complete de current address
  5. In "New email address:" and "Confirm new email address:" complete with the new address
  6. Press Save


* Symantec recommends that you change the email address in your LDAP source and in Symantec Brightmail Gateway at the same time. This avoids latency issues in either system. After you make your changes, you must also replicate the user preferences if you want to associate user preferences with the new email address.
