Issue/Introduction

Description:

I am upgrading from Telon 4.1 to 5.1. I notice in the new procs and clists, they have eliminated the DFEF and CHKTIME parameters. I have done some testing with my current procs and clists which have not be changed for 5.1. I have not had any problems to date.

The new procs and parms have the following:

PARMS('ADPADLS/DLS,TNRADRVR,TNFDMDL3,,,N')

Solution:

CHKTIME and DFEF are two values that IBM eliminated a long time ago, and we finally eliminated them in Telon r5.1.

The CHKTIME and DFEF values are now simply ignored(comma place holders are now used), so they should not cause old JCL or CLISTs to stop working.
