What is the best practice for setting up Live Exceptions profiles in an eHealth Distributed Environment?

Live Exceptions profile management cannot be done from the RFE, it needs to be done on the back-end pollers. Users will access the front-end console to view a composite of all the alarms on the various pollers.

Also, to save time, if you are creating custom profiles that you want duplicated on all pollers, you can build them all on one poller and then export/import to the other pollers in the cluster.

On the server where the custom profiles are created, run the following command:

nhExportLiveExCfg -dciOut /temp/myProfiles.dci -sections "ExceptionProfiles,AlarmRules,Operations" -profiles user

Copy myProfiles.dci to the other distributed pollers and import the data:

nhImportLiveExCfg -dciIn /temp/myProfiles.dci
