Description: Session failed to start: ClientSession: Unable to determine the current user: The operation being requested was not performed because the user has not logged on to the network. The specified service does not exist. (-2147023651)

Environment

Notification Server 6.0
Can be service packs 1 or 2

Cause
The user is not logged in locally.  This can happen when logging in through either Microsoft Terminal Services or Remote Desktop Connection.

Resolution
The Altiris Agent is active and operating normally, but the menu item or system tray icon is not present untill a local logon is performed.  This is needed for the AeXAgentUI.dll to become registered.  Once this is registered, the system tray icon and menu items are active.
