Issue/Introduction

Description:

This Knowledge Document provides instructions on executing the MANT task manually and setting the configuration parameters to allow for automating the task.

Solution:

When MAINTTME=0, the MANT task does not start up at DBAS initialization. You must manually start it with "=START MANT". It will not run again until the next time a manual start occurs.

When MAINTTME is not equal to zero, the MANT task starts up at DBAS initialization for its first cycle. The next cycle will occur based on the MAINTTME (days) from the time the last MANT cycle ended. See the syslog below. If RO27278 has been applied, the syslog produces a "CURRENTLY SLEEPING - Waiting for next cycle" to show the sleep reason. The U11D-4300-0 shown below is an automated generated display.

U11D-4300-0 SRC=1 CMD: DISPLAY STATUS,MANT
