Issue/Introduction

Description:

I am in the process of upgrading to CA Common Services 14.0. I received the error documented in TEC556701. When I tried to run AWIMPRT as directed I get areturn code 4061. There are no other messages.

Solution:

A 4061 user abend can occur if the CA-C Runtime component of CA Common Services was not installed, or if the related modules are not accessible. The CA-C Runtime component is part of the LEGACY package and has an FMID of CAF3E00. The associated load modules would reside in the data set with a LLQ of CCCSLINK, which should be added to the linklist.

I suspect you did not install this component or did not add CCCSLINK to the system linklist. By adding the old Common Services library to the linklist, you essentially allowed access to the previously installed copy.
