Endpoint Detection and Response

Issue/Introduction

Resolution

The Symantec Endpoint Detection and Response (SEDR) option Settings -> Global -> Endpoint Communication Channel, SEP Policies, and Endpoint Activity Recorder -> "Replication is enabled between all SEPMs" is used when connecting SEDR to a Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) infrastructure with replicating databases and creates an internal mapping of which endpoints are managed by which load balanced SEPM server.  This allows SEDR to send commands for a particular endpoint to the proper SEPM that way a replication event is not required for the endpoint to receive the command
