Description:

The default policy for dataset allocation specified in SYS1.PARMLIB member ALLOCxx may not be allowing an allocation request without a specified volser.

Solution:

Specify a volser under MVS Program Executor - Output under Settings, System Setting, Software Installation and click apply at the end of the screen to update.
