Resolution

Starting from IT Management Suite version 8.0, the Symantec Management Platform and related solutions support the management of Windows 10 Creators Update (Windows 10 version 1703) client computers.

List of supported solutions

IT Management Suite provides support for client functionality for the following operating systems:

• Windows 10 Creators Update x86 (Windows 10, version 1703)
• Windows 10 Creators Update x64 (Windows 10, version 1703)

Following are the tested and supported components and fuctionalities of IT Management Suite on Windows 10 Creators Update client computers:

• Symantec Management Agent
• Deployment Solution (Note: The support For Deployment Solution is added in 8.0 HF6 Pointfix)
• Inventory Solution
• Network Discovery

• Real-time System Management
• Software Management Solution
• Symantec Workflow
• Task management
• Virtual Machine Management

Starting from Symantec IT Manageement Suite version 8.0, the following site-server functionalities are supported on Windows 10 Creators Update:

• Package Server
• Task Server

Issue	Description
Scripted OS installation task freezes on client computers.	When you run a scripted OS installation task for Windows 10 Creators Update, the process freezes on client computers, on the Regional Settings page, and requires manual input.
