Resolution

Initial testing performed by Symantec shows that a range of the IT Management Suite functionalities can be used to manage client computers that use Windows 10 Creators Update (Windows 10, version 1703).

The scope of support is limited to specific components and solutions as indicated below as well as versions 8.0 HF6 and 8.1 of the IT Management Suite. Additional limitations may apply. If so, they are listed under the Known limitations section.

Symantec will issue a Full Support statement once the full testing of the new operating systems is performed and all the known limitations are addressed.

List of supported solutions

IT Management Suite provides support for client functionality for the following operating systems:

  • Windows 10 Creators Update x86 (Windows 10, version 1703)
  • Windows 10 Creators Update x64 (Windows 10, version 1703)

The Early Support functionality is limited to the following components and solutions of the IT Management Suite:

  • Symantec Management Agent
  • Inventory Solution
  • Patch Management Solution
  • Deployment Solution
  • Real-time System Management
  • Software Management Solution

Note:

The components and solutions that are not explicitly listed above are not supported. The usage of those might lead to undesirable outcomes.
