This quick start guide will help Accenture Security customers configure FireEye™ Web Malware Protection System (MPS) to send logs to the Log Collection Platform (LCP).

To configure the FireEye MPS to forward events to the LCP, perform the following steps:
Note: All FireEye appliances are capable of creating logs in XML format. FireEye MPS can be configured to send these logs to an HTTP server using HTTP post messages.
Log in to the FireEye Web MPS Web interface as an Admin user.
Click the Settings tab and in the left pane, click Notifications.

In the Notification Settings section, in the Global row, check the http check box.
Click the http hyperlink to define the notifications. The HTTP Server Listing section appears.

Enabled: Check the check box to enable the HTTP server.
http://<LCP_IP_address>:<port> (Default port used = 8080)
Notification: From the drop-down list, select All Events.
Delivery: From the drop-down list, select Per Event.
Default provider: From the drop-down list, select Generic.
Message Format: From the drop-down list, select XML Extended.
Note: Click Test-Fire to send a test notification to the LCP.
Once the device is configured as outlined in the steps above and all network pre-requisites have been made, you are now ready to onboard it for MSS monitoring. To complete this process, submit a New Request via the MSS Portal at https://mss.accenture.com/. This new request should contain the following information:
Reporting LCP Hostname/IP Address:
Device IP Address:
Protocol: TCP (Default)
Port Number: 8080 (Default)
Note: If you have any questions about this process, please contact the Accenture Security MSS onboarding team.
The default protocol for sending HTTP logs.
Note:The collector can accept logs in TCP only.

Note: If the device sends logs using multiple interfaces, contact the Accenture Security MSS onboarding team.
The default port number for the HTTP.
Note: The LCP can be configured to listen on a non-standard port, please advise the MSS onboarding team if
this is a requirement.
