How to Integrate GovernanceMinder and SiteMinder through SPS (Secure Proxy Server)

Issue/Introduction

Description:

The following is a list of steps required in order to integrate GovernanceMinder and SiteMinder when it is configured with SPS

Solution:

1. Configure Virtual Host and proxy rules in SPS.
   
   
2. Add GM domian in Siteminder admin UI
   
   
3. Modify the following properties in GM:
   
   
   1. sage.security.siteminder.enabled-True
      
      
   2. sage.security.siteminder.cookie-SMSESSION
      
      
   3. sage.security.siteminder.username.attribute-sm_user
      
      
4. Change the following properties values to SPS FQDN:
   
   
   1. sage.sageBaseUrl
      
      
   2. reports.baseUrl
      
      
   3. portalExternalLink.ticketQueueUrl
      
      
   4. portalExternalLink.homeUrl
      
      
   5. portalExternalLink.certificationUrl
      
      
5. Set the enableproxypreservehost to yes. Ensure SPS has been restarted for changes to take effect
