Description:

Plan Analyzer is generating bind cards with PLANMGMT OFF when the Zparm set to EXTENDED. How or what controls the Plan Analyzer bind card settings?

Solution:

Plan Analyzer obtains the PLANMGT value from catalog not from the ZPARM. If you want to change the PLANMGMT settings for a package in the catalog, the rebind options allows the package to be changed from OFF to EXTENDED for PLANMGMT. The line command to use for rebind package options is RO.
