Resolution

This article describes how to update the content on Symantec Endpoint Protection clients (SEP) and Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager servers (SEPM) using Symantec LiveUpdate.

Update a SEP client using LiveUpdate:

1. Open the SEP client
2. Click LiveUpdate
3. After the LiveUpdate session finishes, click Close

Update a SEPM using LiveUpdate:

1. Login to the SEPM
2. Click Admin > Servers
3. Click Local Site
4. Click Download LiveUpdate Content
5. After the LiveUpdate session finishes, click Close
