In release 7.6 of the Symantec Management Platform, support for the pcAnywhere solution has been dropped and Symantec advises customers to use Bomgar as a replacement. As Bomgar uses a concurrent use license model, it raises the question of how many licenses do you actually need.

One good way to determine this is to review your usage of pcAnywhere. This will give you a good idea of how many remote sessions are opened at any given time and give you a better idea of how many Bomgar licenses you are likely to require.

The report attached to this article will show the pcAnywhere usage over a period of time in a graphical format with the number of sessions open plotted against the date. This will allow you to quickly see your maximum usage of pcAnywhere and also how frequently you reach this value.
