How do I know what version of the Altiris Agent is installed on the client computers?
How do I know when the Altiris Agents was installed on a client computer?

To view the report that shows this information:
- Drill down on the Console > Reports > Notification Server Management > Agent > Agent Version (listed report)
- The right pane displays the information
- Agent Version: Current Version Installed
- Count: Count of machines with that version
- Staged Altiris Agent Build: Version Being Deployed
- Right click the line item – View Details
- Agent Version: Lists the Altiris Agent version for each machine
- Name: Machine Name
- OS Name: Operating System on the machine
- OS Version: Operating System version installed
- Server: The Notification Server the machine reports to
To view the Rollout/Upgrade Policies for the Altiris Agent:
- Console > Settings > All Settings > Altiris Agent > Settings > Altiris Agent Install Policy
- Installs an Altiris Agent on a new system to the environment
- Console > Settings > All Settings > Altiris Agent > Windows > Altiris Agent Upgrade Policy
- Upgrades an already existing Altiris Agent to the current Altiris Agent Package being deployed for the environment
- Select the Altiris Agent Package just below the Upgrade Policy to view the details
To view the currently installed version of the Altiris Agent on a particular managed computer
- On the menu: Manage > Computers
- In the left-hand pane: navigate to the computer of interest
- In the right-hand pane: right-click on the computer of interest, select Resource Manager
- In the Resource Manager
- From the menu bar: View > Inventory
- In the middle column: Data Classes > Inventory > Basic Inventory > AeX AC Client Agent
- In the right-most column, locate "Symantec Management Agent, and note the product version
To view when the Altiris was most recently installed on a managed computer
- In the Resource Manager
- From the menu bar: View > Events
- In the middle column: Data Classes > Computer Events > AeX Agent Push
- In the right-most column, on the Current tab,
- Note the list of events and times
To view the currently installed version of the Altiris Agent, using the Altiris Agent
- In the system tray
- Right-click on the Altiris Agent icon
- Select Symantec Management Agents settings
- In the Symantec Management Agent window
- On the Symantec Management Agent Settings tab
- In the list of Agents/Plug-ins at the bottom,
- Locate the "Symantec Management Agent" and note the version number
