How To Generate Alerts when a SCSP\SDCSS:A Agent stops sending events\logs to CSP Server for 30 minutes

Issue/Introduction

 

Resolution

 

      1. Login to SCSP\SDCSS:A server.

      2. Go To Assets. Select the Agent. Right Click on it. Click on Properties.( Last Option)

      3. Click on Configure Health & Agent Health Settings Window will pop up. (Please see the screenshot below)

 

      4.Select Last Event Radio Button. In Agent is “offline” after textbox, enter 1800 seconds

      5. In Health Events Section, Select Checkbox “Generate events when this Agent becomes red”

       6. When the Agent goes offline, we can generate a SMTP\SNMP or File alert as per your requirement.
