AD import page fails to load on a particular IE session

Resolution

----Error displayed in the console----

 An error occured while retrieving import rules from the Directory web service. Rule #6, id={<RULE GUID>}, Object doesn't support property or method 'EscapeXmlText'

There are no directory importing rules specified

This error is only seen in an IE session that is local to the Notification Server. Remote console sessions are unaffected.

 

 

----Solution----

Updated ActiveX plugin. Forced IE to reprompt for the ActiveX plugin download via disabling IE Enhanced Security Config. Once the local copy of IE is updated in this way, AD import page loaded just fine for all logins scoped for it.
