 Prerequisites:

Thumb drive of at least 2gb
Windows ADK 8.0 Preboot and Deployment tools installed (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30652)
A x64 SBS/PXE option built with drivers you will need.

First, we need to format our thumb drive for EFI booting:

Enter Diskpart by typing Diskpart. Enter the following lines one at a time:

list disk (to get the disk number of your thumb drive)
select disk # (where # is your thumb drive's number)
clean (to wipe the USB drive, backup all information on it beforehand)
create partition primary
select partition 1
active
format quick fs=fat32
assign

exit

Browse to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.0\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Windows Preinstallation Environment\amd64\Media"
Copy the BOOT and EFI folders, as well as the bootmgr and bootmgr.efi files to the root of the thumbdrive.

Create a folder called sources in the root of the thumb drive.

Copy any x64 boot.wim into the newly created sources folder on the thumb drive.
(by default, the SBS/PXE file is located in C:\Program Files\Altiris\Altiris Agent\Agents\Deployment\SBS\Images\(Youroptionname)\x64\sources)

Eject USB drive.

You can now boot your UEFI machine from this drive.
