Issue/Introduction

Why am I getting the error "Unable to delete this group because there are still Clients or Subgroups in the group" even though the group is empty?

Unable to delete this group because there are still clients or subgroups in the group. [0x83030000]

Cause

Not all clients are visible in all possible views.

Resolution

1. In the Symantec Endpoint Protection Console, select the group that should be deleted
2. Select the Clients on the right and verify if in any of the other possible View, some clients become visible 
3. Delete or move the client from the current view, then it will be possible to delete the group.
