Issue/Introduction

Symptoms
You have two existing Symantec Endpoint Protection Managers and attempt to establish replication between them.

When you submit the remote Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager's address and login information, the first attempt to connect within the replication wizard fails with the error message:
"The remote site does not have the information for local site [My Site]. Please synchronize the remote site's data with its partners first".

Cause

Initiating Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager does not have needed credentials information for remote Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, such as site ID.

Resolution

Do not attempt to establish replication between existing Symantec Endpoint Protection Managers.
Install secondary Symantec Endpoint Protection Managers as replication partners during the installation.
