Issue/Introduction

NTLM authentication is enabled in SWG and you would like to enable automatic NTLM authentication for Firefox users.

Symptoms
Firefox will prompt users for a username/password when accessing the internet.

 

Resolution


In the Firefox address bar , type “about:config”.
Find "network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris" in the list or use the filter feature to search for it. Double click the entry to edit it.
The entry is a comma-delimited list of all host names that you want to use NTLM with.
Enter the domain name that users will be asked to authenticate against. based on the Authentication/LDAP settings in SWG.
