Issue/Introduction

Symantec Endpoint Protection Internet Email Auto Protect is configured to scan selected extensions. Internet Email Auto Protect is scanning email attachments with extensions not defined in the list.

 

Cause

The product could not process an extension list exceeding 256 characters, typically 85 individual extensions.

Resolution

This problem is fixed in Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 RU6.
